Admissions

If you are looking for friendly, local childcare in Horsham, please contact us to find out more about Holy Trinity Playgroup and book a visit. This will give you the chance to look around the playgroup and ask us questions.

Once you have visited, you will need to complete a registration form and pay a £50 deposit/administration fee to reserve a place for your child (read more about our fees below). We have limited spaces but will do our best to accommodate your child.

The minimum attendance is 2 sessions of 3 hours per week. We cannot ‘swap’ sessions or lunch clubs if your child is unable to attend their allocated days.

Our playgroup sessions are a minimum of 3 hours and run from:

  • 9am to 12pm
  • 9am to 1pm
  • 9am to 3pm

Free childcare for 3 and 4-year-olds

The government provides 15 hours of free universal funding each week for all 3 and 4-year-olds in England. Your child can receive this from the term after their third birthday. Read more on GOV.UK: https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-and-education-for-2-to-4-year-olds

The 15 hours can be used for two childcare settings, but are shared between both.

Some parents can claim extra funding for up to a total of 30 hours. Find out more about extended entitlement on GOV.UK: https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare

Free childcare for 2-year-olds

You may be able to claim funding for your 2-year-old child from West Sussex County Council.

Find out if you are eligible:

If you get this funding, you will not have to pay the £50 administration charge to join our playgroup.

Fees

To register a place for your child, a £50 deposit/administration fee is required.

We do not require a deposit if you are in receipt of Local Authority issued 2-year-old funding or Early Years Pupil Premium.

If your child will not be taking part in forest school or you do not require additional non-funded hours, your £50 deposit/administration fee will be refunded within the first term.

The deposit will not be refunded if you have not given us notice that your child no longer requires the space within three months of them starting.

If your child is not in receipt of government or Local Authority funding, the hourly rate is £8.30.

If your child needs extra hours over the 15 hours universal funding or 30 hours working funding, the hourly rate is £8.30.
